Our new Vehicle Dynamics Manager will have a developed expertise in CAE, Objective Testing, Subjective Evaluation, and Vehicle Development for Automotive, Defense, Commercial, Power sports, and Motorsports arenas.

RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for developing core competency and capability in the area of Vehicle Dynamics, to include but not limited to: Analytical and CAE, Objective Testing, Subjective Evaluation, Vehicle Development for Ride, Suspension, Steering, Handling, Braking. - Subject Matter Expert support - Systems support in: Tires, Wheels, Brakes; Springs, ARBs, Dampers, Bumpers; Steering; Bushings; Aerodynamics; Active chassis systems

Requirements: - Desired Education and Training: BS, MS or PhD in Automotive, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Controls Engineering - Auto OE proving ground certification (sub and limit handling) - Auto OE expert level subjective evaluation certification - Desired Knowledge and Skills: - Vehicle Dynamics theory - Vehicle Dynamics CAE tools & methods - Adams - Carsim - Trucksim - Matlab, Simulink, Simscape, - Vehicle Dynamics objective testing - Data acquisition hardware, instrumentation and data analysis tools - Vehicle Dynamics DNA metrics - SAE, ISO vehicle dynamics test standards and procedures - Vehicle Dynamics subjective evaluation - Auto OE expert level subjective evaluation for ride, steering, handling, and braking - Vehicle Development and System Subject Matter Expert
