We’re currently on the lookout for an innovative leader to develop and implement a land acquisition strategy to build out Nikola’s energy infrastructure including hydrogen production hubs and a nationwide network of refueling stations. 

Nikola’s Land Manager, Energy Midstream and Downstream will report to our Global Head of Energy Infrastructure and Commercial Operations and will develop processes and procedures for identifying and promoting potential land opportunities, completing due diligence, and obtaining approvals to proceed in developing Nikola’s hydrogen value chain from hydrogen hubs to station development.

Success is driving forward in developing a land strategy that allows Nikola’s Energy Team to deliver fuel to Nikola FCEV with the flexibility and pace to support all sales targets achieved, no matter how bold and successful Nikola is at delivering trucks to market.

In this key role you’ll coordinate land acquisition efforts with third-party land brokers and work with energy Infrastructure Development team for rezoning and use planning.  You’ll negotiate agreements and obtain approvals to support Nikola’s hydrogen value chain development and be a key member of the Energy Infrastructure and Commercial team. 

To be successfully you have keen commercial and business acumen combined with deep real estate knowledge (8+ years) including ability to analyze competing alternatives to maximize value to Nikola. Midstream and station development experience would be an asset as Nikola builds out its hydrogen fueling station network. Experience in building out a station network will be a plus

You’re a person who enjoys moving fast in developing and delivering land strategy to support hydrogen value chain development, which will include an aggressive station development plan. 

You’re driven, self-motivated, and organized and you want to fully utilize your experience in executing land strategy to support our aggressive station network.  You want to play an impactful role in shaping the US push to zero emission transportation solutions.
