Nikola is a company working to change the world by revolutionizing the transportation and energy industries by developing zero emission trucks and the infrastructure needed to produce and distribute fuel to them.

The Manager, Energy Midstream and Downstream Commercial Operations will report to Nikola’s Global Head of Energy Infrastructure and Commercial Operations.  In this key role, you will work outward to build strategic relationships with energy partners to develop process and procedures to support Nikola energy’s infrastructure and logistical capabilities.  You’ll have a front row seat in negotiating partnership agreements across hydrogen value chain, focused on midstream and downstream, to ensure reliable and efficient future operations. Must have a logistics/trucking background.

Success in the role means driving Nikola forward in developing operational capabilities that are safe, reliable and efficient in both hydrogen midstream and downstream operations, refueling and logistics to deliver fuel to Nikola FCEV with the flexibility and pace to support all sales targets achieved, no matter how bold and successful Nikola is at delivering trucks to market.

To be successful you have keen commercial and business acumen combined with deep energy industry knowledge (10+ years) including ability to analyze competing alternatives to maximize value to Nikola.  You’re experienced in Midstream and Downstream development in the energy industry and can move fast in developing and delivering operating capabilities of Nikola’s hydrogen value chain, with particular emphasis on Nikola’s hydrogen hubs, station network and trucking.  And you’re driven, self-motivated, and organized.  You yearn to play an impactful role in shaping the US push to zero emission transportation solutions. 

Candidates should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business, energy, engineering, mathematics, economics, programing, or a related discipline.  Experience in Midstream and Downstream development in the energy industry.  A background in trucking logistics a valuable asset.

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.  This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
