Manager, Fuel Cell Design Description WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR People who push themselves, work effectively and get things done, consider how their work impacts others, and treat the company and its resources as their own. THE JOB AND ITS REQUIREMENTS Lead CAE and CAD/CAM of PEM Fuel Cell Stack from the initial scoping, over design/simulation to running prototypes from short stacks to full scale production stacks. Lead Design Team to simulate flows, heat transfer, water management and structure in/of PEM Fuel Cell Stack using CFD, FEA, and other analysis tools to optimize the Fuel Cell Stack design which satisfies functionality, cost, timing, weight and packaging requirements. Lead the Stack and Bipolar Plate Engineers to cascade Fuel Cell Stack system requirements to Cell and Bipolar Plate design, improve the flow fields of the Bipolar Plates, coordinate with MEA Team to optimize and integrate into Stack design. Focus on the mechanical and thermal behaviors of the Stack and the initial fluid dynamic and heat transfer simulations in the design phase. Collaborate with Fuel Cell Stack Testing Team to validate Stack design. Evaluate Plate manufacturing processes, deploy Design for Manufacturing principles, lead suppliers to develop and implement cost-effective, reliable and robust mass production process. Education Background: BS in Engineering (MS in Engineering Preferred). Experience: 5 years of Design & Release in Auto Industry.
