Your new career as the Manager of Vehicle Reliability Engineering will enable you to start this department from scratch! If you have the confidence in yourself to create a brand new group within a start-up company that is aggressively leading the BEV Semi Trucks market vertical, then read on!

YOU WILL:

  • Express your strong working knowledge of both analytical and physical reliability engineering skills
  • Define Reliability and Confidence Targets for all vehicle programs
  • Create vehicle reliability plans to assess vehicle reliability versus requirements and targets
  • Design, creation & execution of reliability KPIs, analysis programs (fault tree, RBD) and planning
  • Strong, demonstrated background in physics of failure analysis and design improvement
  • Forward-thinking by improving vehicle reliability for the current generation vehicle, while using lessons learned, to improve vehicle reliability for the next generation of vehicles
  • Collaborate with all vehicle, system, and component engineering Teams to review reliability test data to improve data, redefine methods, update documentation for continuous improvement
  • Display your knowledge with tools & concepts like: CAN, PTC, ReliaSoft, Matlab, MTTF, MMTF, MTBF, Jira, CATIA
  • You will perform as both a reliability engineer & a technical lead that can build & manage a reliability engineering team to make an immediate impact on the Vehicle V&V Team and our Business Partners internally & externally

YOU HAVE:

  • BS, MS preferred, in ME, EE, Automotive Eng. or other related Engineering fields
  • Minimum of 7 years of reliability engineering experience with at least 2 years in a lead or management role with direct reports
  • BEV full electric, hybrids or FCEV vehicle architecture which includes High Voltage Battery Systems, Low Voltage Systems, Powertrain, Structures, Chassis/Suspension, Braking & Vehicle Software/Firmware
  • Strong collaboration, communication, Team building, data analytics, KPI & technical writing skills

 

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.  This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
