We’re looking for a self-motivated New Product Introduction (NPI) Coordinator that is able to effectively communicate and provide coordination with multiple teams and areas.  You will work closely with our Production Control team to coordinate deliverables across multiple project teams and ensure that compliance information, volumes, packaging, finance, dangerous goods and trade requirements for new products are seamlessly delivered.

You will:

  • Have a general understanding of our global product and manufacturing processes.
  • Work with Production Control to assure the latest build plan and changes are communicated to the New Product Introduction (NPI) Team.
  • Coordinate parts delivery, staging, containment, inventory, and disposition with related departments.
  • Coordinate with Material Flow Engineers to ensure FIFO is taking place and old level parts are dispositioned according to plan.
  • Understand inventory locations and levels of changing parts by working with related departments for a continuous flow of parts for trails, or production parts after implementation of changes.
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with teams on the availability and readiness of components planned for changes or trials.

You’ll need: 

  • 2+ years of experience inventory control systems and knowledge of mBOM structure.
  • 2 years of experience in the automotive industry Logistics, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain areas is preferred 
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.
  • Possess knowledge and experience across multiple manufacturing functions.

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.  This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
