We are on the lookout for a few highly skilled Production Supervisors for our Class 8 Heavy-Duty trucks.  In this role, you'll inspire and supervise a dynamic team of technicians and leads in the building of Prototype class 8 trucks and the Nikola Tre. 

You will:

  • Build and direct a strong, motivated production team capable of delivering high quality productions on-time
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities, oversee scheduling and routine productions activities 
  • Have effective use of time management while prioritizing your workload 
  • Effectively communicate organizational needs
  • Use your troubleshooting expertise to provide resolutions should problems arise
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform standardized work processes and defined work instructions
  • While overseeing your production team, provide guidance, support and developmental needs so the team and organization is successful 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

You’ll need: 

  • Minimum (5) five years’ experience in R&D, manufacturing, or related field
  • Minimum (3) three years’ experience managing teams of people in high volume production 
  • Previous expertise in class-8 alt-fuel environment is a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • The ability to follow directions while being a self-starter
  • Effective oral and written communication 
  • Physical stamina to (including but not limited to) stand, kneel, bend, push, pull, reach, grip, lift, etc
  • Comprehension of and adherence to safety & policy practices
  • Must be able to travel abroad for specialized training

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.  This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
