The Requirements Management Engineer will be part of a team, responsible for the development of world-class Class 8 Semi Trucks: from requirements management and development, through testing, and into the launch of the cutting edge product.

We are looking for a candidate with good problem-solving skills along with first-hand knowledge of Requirements Management, Systems Engineering Tools, and Processes are an absolute must.

Additionally, you will:

  • Development of overall vehicle and systems requirements for fuel cell vehicle applications
  • Development of design targets and performance metrics
  • Use of Jama for the development, documentation and, administration of requirements including traceability, analysis, and change management
  • Adopt internal and external standards and comply with Systems Engineering best practices
  • Operate within an agile process to successfully meet our milestones
  • Support development and implementation of process disciplines
  • Collaborate closely across departments (vehicle engineering, fuel cells, controls, battery, etc.) and with suppliers

Success in this role requires someone with experience in requirements and systems engineering tools and methods and a minimum of five years’ experience in the automotive/trucking or similar industry. Additionally, the role requires:

  • Master’s Degree in Systems/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering or related field
  • Five or more years’ experience with vehicle product development as well as various Systems Engineering tasks such as requirements development, requirements analysis, test case development, architecture, and system definition
  • Experience in Fuel Cell Systems and/or battery systems or electrified powertrains
  • Experience with systems/hardware/software/product development
  • Hands-on experience with Requirements Management tools like Jama or Doors NG, and Agile tools like Jira
  • Ability to interact dynamically with cross-functional global teams to perform systems engineering tasks as assigned
  • Ability to suggest or recommend streamlined approaches to perform activities related to requirements management
  • Effective communication skills, written and oral, to all levels of the organization
  • High Energy / Flexible / Adaptable / Dynamic / “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to influence and thrive within a rapidly changing / growing organization
  • Ability to travel regionally and internationally

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
