We’re looking for a Senior EE/Controls Project Manager to join our Vehicle Controls Team.  You are a proven leader who can jump into a dynamic, fast-paced environment and help guide the development of ground-breaking products. 

You will: 

  • Collaborate and participate in technical discussions with team members
  • Manage projects and budgets, including resource management and oversight of project staff
  • Manage high level program timeline and deliveries from a Multidisciplinary EE and Controls team
  • Manage requirements and deliverables associated with the products and projects
  • Use your strong cross-functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills and ability to achieve results without direct reporting relationships
  • Assess risk and identify issues
  • Monitor progress against schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate resources with other functions, as necessary
  • Communicate in a clear and concise manner and drive continual improvements in project execution with a passion to improve user acceptance and experience
  • Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity
  • Effectively communicate with and influence executives and senior technical leaders

You have: 

  • Bachelor of Science degree is required (MS degree is preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of project management, or technical program management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, artifacts and tools
  • Experience using JIRA or Workzone or similar software project management tools
  • Proficient with SQL
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive business practices is preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Superior time management, planning and ability to interact with suppliers
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites and suppliers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a team and work well with a team
  • Willing to understand the detailed process of document creation and contribute hands-on when/if required
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong orientation to Truth and Transparency in communicating with all levels
