We’re currently on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Technician to manage and perform reworks for all types of vehicle wire harnesses.

Your duties will also include:

  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues when they exist
  • Report to engineering any issues discovered
  • Ability to troubleshoot and rework wire harnesses, in warehouses or assembled on vehicles, during wire harness or vehicle builds
  • Assist in the tracking of incoming and outgoing parts
  • Perform harness inspections
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Create proper documentation of any quality issue arriving during the job with outsourced harness assemblies
  • Perform professional work ethics that would require keeping the work area clean and organized according to the company policy and 5S standards
  • Manage and supervise inventory of electrical wires, connectors, terminals, etc.
  • On occasion, travel to different job sites that require immediate assistance. This would include national and international support

 

Requirements

  • Must have experience with assembly work and electrical repairs
  • A knowledge of both Low Voltage and High Voltage wire harnesses
  • High Voltage Training
  • Ability to understand engineering designs to make necessary reworks
  • Comfortable with USCAR-21 standards for crimping
  • Must be someone who can handle several tasks at a time and is self-motivated
  • 4+ years of direct or related work experience
  • Ability to climb inside of vehicles to troubleshoot and rework
  • Familiar with hand crimping tools
  • Must be comfortable working within a team while also carrying out job assignments independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • AS degree in electromechanical or electrical training or official automotive wire harness training as a technician


Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
