Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Own the integration of the fuel cell system software interface.
  • Own the fuel cell system DBC’s
  • Support other teams to understand and implement the fuel cell system software interface requirements
  • Support other teams to align their software interface requirements with the capabilities of the fuel cell system
  • Lead meetings on the fuel cell system software interface with internal and external partners
  • Lead initial data analysis of issues to determine if the fuel cell system is responsible
  • Ensure fuel cell system issues are clearly documented to allow further analysis by responsible engineer
  • Support the development of fuel cell system requirements
  • Support the development of fuel cell system software functional requirements
  • Represent the fuel cell system during technical design and development activities
  • Support development of the fuel cell system DVP
  • Develop specifications and design verification plans for control systems and features
  • Support SIL/MIL/HIL testing
  • Support simulation, bench, and vehicle testing and calibration
  • Support fuel cell system commissioning
  • Collaborate with program management, manufacturing, design & development teams, purchasing, and partners to ensure on time sign-offs at program milestones and engineering gateways
  • Support efficient issue/risk identification, communication, tracking, and resolution
You Have:
  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
  • State machine development experience
  • Demonstrated experience in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Demonstrated experience with automotive software development, instrumentation, and calibration tools (Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, etc.)
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet) and electrical architectures
  • Troubleshooting experience with electromechanical systems
  • Experience developing and executing test plans
  • Experience in automotive applications regulatory requirements for U.S. and EU
  • Experience in requirements management
  • Experience with functional safety and HARA
  • Familiarity with MISRA standards and verification tools
  • Experience with safety critical software development processes such as ISO 26262
  • Good understanding of system/component design/development processes
  • Good communication and time management skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with fuel cell systems
  • Experience with calibration
  • Experience with vehicle testing
  • Experience with pumps, compressors, sensors
  • Experience with automotive VDP processes
  • Experience with prototype and production vehicles
  • Experience with Class 8 Trucks
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
