Drive Forward. Introduce yourself to us and let’s start a conversation. We’re currently on the lookout for a Senior Thermal Systems Engineer to join our  Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle Engineering team. You will be responsible for modelling, design and development of the vehicle's thermal systems, including propulsion system cooling and cabin HVAC.

You Will:

  • Lead the development and optimization of the vehicle’s thermal architecture
  • Develop and validate  models of the vehicle's thermal systems in GT-Suite
  • Size and optimize thermal components, including e-compressor, evaporators, condensers, refrigerant lines, pumps, valves, hoses, radiators, etc. to meet vehicle performance requirements
  • Collaborate with testing and validation engineers to develop validation test plans for thermal components to meet performance requirements
  • Work with controls engineers to ensure that Fuel Cell and HV Battery thermal management controls strategy meets requirements
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that all thermal components meet design requirements

You Have:

  • Master's  degree, plus minimum of  6 years of experience in Automotive (OEM or Tier 1 supplier), aerospace or chemical engineering  product development
  • Experience with  modeling commercial software including GT-Suite and MATLAB Simulink
  • Hands-on experience with setup, testing, and validation of  integrated thermal systems and components
  • Experience with optimization methods

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada.  This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
