We are on the lookout for a Vehicle Systems Controls Manager to join our team!


  • Works closely with cross-functional DREs and Controls Engineers on software management to ensure vehicle level compatibility for proposed changes
  • Develop and maintain a compatibility matrix for hardware and software interactions 
  • Manages breakpoint requirements for software/hardware changes, and actively engage in the Change Management process
  • Track all software and software/hardware related development, validation, and in-field usage issues to ensure proper root cause analysis, interim corrective actions, and permanent corrective actions are implemented
  • Track software and hardware installation on all development, validation, and captured test fleet vehicle
  • Have a complete understanding of the vehicle controls systems, all features, functions, and module interactions to help address system level issues
  • Coordinate and lead a Controls Integration meeting which brings all the pertinent software stakeholders to a single forum 
  • Coordinates reflashes across the vehicle fleet, considering all potential hardware and software interactions 
  • Drive issues pertaining to software and software / hardware interactions to closure 
  • Lead execution of the vehicle software releases by ensuring appropriate software and hardware harmony at time of release


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of vehicle software & controls experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Working-level knowledge of the following systems/processes:
    • Vehicle Development Process
    • Experience with product launches
    • Change Management
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated interpersonal skills leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of major automotive systems and subsystems
  • Understanding of verification and validation processes
  • Effective at dealing with change and ambiguity
  • Proactive / results-driven individual with high levels of initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and assignments independently with a high accountability for results

Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
